...I had an amazing experience working with Mike for my pregnancy photos! Before the shoot, I was nervous about “posing” in front of a camera by myself, worried about looking and feeling awkward. The day of the shoot, as we got started, Mike immediately put me at ease, and made me feel beyond comfortable and beautiful. It felt like two friends just hanging out and laughing. It never felt like posing, and felt like the most natural thing in the world. Mike has an ease about him, that in turn made me comfortable in ways I never thought I would be in front of a camera. I wondered how he would do at capturing the beauty of a pregnant woman, and I was blown away. The photos were more than I ever expected, and I shutter to think if I had passed on the opportunity and chosen a woman photographer instead. I still, a month later, constantly look at them, and discover something new I love every time I look through them. Those photos are a treasured part of my life, and will be forever. I was honored to have such a talented artist capture this most amazing and transformative time in my life. I feel like everyone should have a set of these gorgeous photos, and I so I got a session with Mike for one of my best friends and her family as a gift. I wanted others to have such a treasure among their memories. I can’t wait for him to take pictures of my child after he is born. Thank you Mike for a fun filled day of ease and laughter, and the most beautiful pictures I have ever seen. I know my son will cherish them someday when he is older, and that is a priceless gift.
